    TRAINING DELIVERY

We use a variety of ways to deliver your training such as:

    Interactive online one day workshops:

Our virtual classroom means you can attend a one day workshop in your unit without leaving home.  This is a great way to cover most of the content and get started on the assessment tasks with the support of your trainer and other class members.

    Self-paced online learning:

Use resources and information in our online learning site to work at your own rate.

    Printed manuals:

We provide printed manuals for many of our units, giving you time to explore the online learning environments while having familiar materials at hand.

    RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING (RPL)

RPL is a process which recognises the experience and skills you have gained through previous work experiences, or prior study. This means you may gain recognition without additional training.

  • Benefits of Online Training

How does RuralBiz deliver online training?

We use a variety of ways to deliver your training such as:

    Interactive online sessions:
These are run in our Elluminate virtual room where you will work with a trainer and others in your group. You will be able to see the presentation on your computer screen, hear the trainer and other group members, and ask questions or make comments. One of our previous participants described it as being like “two way radio with pictures” but it also has a whiteboard and many other tools useful for training. These sessions are scheduled regularly, depending on the particular unit, but are recorded and available for viewing later if you are unable to attend the session.

    RuralBizOnline:
Our learning centre where you will find resources to help your learning. These may include videos, quizzes, print materials and links to other useful sites. This site also has a forum where you can post comments and questions for other participants and your trainer. It will also be the spot to upload your assessments, receive trainer feedback and track your progress.

    Self-paced online learning:
Each unit/group of units has a target start and finish date, and using resources and information in our online learning site, you are free to work at your own rate. This means that you can fit your study in with other demands on your time. We will send you directions on accessing our online learning site, including your login and enrolment key for your unit, with your information for the first unit.

Printed manuals: Many of our units use a printed manual, giving you time to explore the online learning environments while having familiar materials at hand.
